Visit Tattoo Gallery Visit Artwork Gallery Whats up! So let me start off by saying I am Tyler Nolan, born and raised right here in South Florida! Since I was a small child I've loved many forms of art. As far back as I can remember I have been drawing and painting anything i could get my hands on. I grew up in Boca Raton and attended Spanish River highschool, and even in class I always just found myself drawing up tattoos for classmates and random things that people asked me for. When I was 14 my family and I moved to a neighborhood where fortunately my neighbor was a man named Joey D, owner of Infinite Irons Tattoo machine company. Joey was my new idol covered in tattoos, great fisherman, and even better friend. At this point in my childhood I was amazed to meet such a person, so I pursued that way of making a living and still look up to Joey for advice to this day. I worked full time starting at age 14 in a reptile store in Deerfield and also hung out at a local tattoo shop. From 14 to 18 I hung out at the local shop and would draw tattoos up for people, answer phones, clean, you name it. If it had to get done, I was that guy you called to make it happen. In return one of the artists there Anthony Toro, who is no longer with us, taught me how to tattoo. So still being very young, I tattooed all my friends and was learning the hard way. At age 18 I started working full time as an artist and ive been going strong ever since. In the past few years I have worked at a couple different shops and was honored to get to work with some this industrys best artists. I also travel and tattooed at conventions all over the united states learning all that I can from everyone around me. I'm always open to learn new styles and strive everyday to grow as an artist. I enjoy mostly doing new school mixed with traditional style artwork. Everything I draw and paint is for the most part full color pieces as well as some realistic black and grey thrown in the mix. You'll see more of my style artwork when you look at my online portfolio. Im open for all styles and I'm always up for something new! Im proud to say I've found my home here at Vatican Tattoo tattooing along side my friend Jeff Kozan and I cant wait to start working on your next custom piece!! Gimme a call, 954-561-9646
